What it's like to work with me
Hey babe!...
I know the idea of a boudoir session can be so intimidating. I mean, rolling around in your underwear in front of a stranger with a camera... what could possibly be more stressful? Some would say a phlebotomy is easier.
But here's the thing: I'm not going to feel like a stranger for long.
By the end of your session, we'll probably be besties who somehow know more about each other than your boyfriends ever did.
My studio is a safe, judgment-free space where you get to show up exactly as you are. You don't have to be a certain size, know how to pose, or suddenly become some mysterious, ultra-confident version of yourself. You just get to be YOU.
We turn up the music, we laugh, we hype each other up, we make a little magic, and yes—there might be a moment where one of us gets a little emotional.
And somewhere between the first awkward pose and the last shot, something shifts.
You start seeing yourself differently.
You realize you're allowed to take up space. You're allowed to feel beautiful. You're allowed to have fun with your body and celebrate the woman you are right now.
And when you leave, I want you walking out that door thinking:
“Holy shit. I actually did that.” And feeling like a total fucking babe.
NO POSING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
One of the biggest concerns every client has when booking a boudoir session sounds like this...."I am awkward and I don't know what to do in front of the camera."
GIRL SAME and let me tell you - the reason why you hire a professional is not just to push button on the camera, it's hiring someone who can lead you through all the poses that will make you feel like a divine goddess forged of marble and displayed in a high end museum.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Choosing looks can be hard. Too many options, indecisiveness, will it look good? Will it feel like me?
When it comes to wardrobe for sessions like this the options truly are endless - but the most important thing for you to remember is to BE YOURSELF. Wear things that make you feel the way you want to feel.
I will be there to help you choose the right outfit line up. Things that show all the sides of you, whether it be feminine and flirty, or sassy and bold we've got it all. Take a look through the client closet and try on anything you like for your shoot, and it doesn't have to be lingerie!
HAIR + MAKEUP, BUT MAKE IT YOU
Your hair and makeup are designed specifically for the camera and the mood of your session—not a one-size-fits-all glam look. We’ll create a look that feels like you, just turned all the way up. Feel free to share Inso or ideas with the hair and makeup artist, and we will make sure you're stoked on your final look before we jump right into taking photos.
